Reviews
This restaurant has it all, nice flair, charming, incredible local food, extremely helpful and nice service, great ambiente, and I could keep going. I just passed through to go to Germany but the location was so unique and idillic that I’m now looking at houses in this town to make this restaurant part of my everyday life!
Nice location for lunch and diner. Do reserve in advance since this is a popular location. Expect a decent mail, at a lower then average price.
Had a lovely lunch here last week. I had the stew and tiramisu for dessert. Enjoyed a cocktail also. Very cozy atmosphere, they had the fire going. Recommended!
Cozy place with fantastic food choices. Next to the Geleenbeek river and a park. It has old watermill built into the building, go at the back of the building to see it working. Parking available next to the building. Staff is friendly. Food is fantastic. Menu is only available in Dutch, maybe because the restaurant is not visited by many tourist. Many walking routes can be taken to stroll around the area.
Very good place, very cosy place (we were for christmas). The special menu was very nice, beautiful, and tasty :) . The situation of the restaurant is even better for summer.
We fell in love with Limburg and Sittard in particular and going there from time to time in weekends. I think that Limburg cuisine is a gem of regional cuisines in the Netherlands, where the overall Dutch cuisine is a bit boring and simplistic, while this restaurant is a hidden gem of Sittard itself. Located far from the central square crowds, the restaurant is in the house of old water-mill on the eponymous street and in picturesque location. A wide range of main dishes and beers, abundant and high-quality food of simple cuisine. I would recommend to try onion soup in Belgian (or French style), one of the burger types or two meatballs in Liege style. Once again, the dishes like Liege style meatballs and onion soup are not that common in central or northern Holland and definitely less tasty. 5/5
Nice and cosy restaurant with a friendly staff!
This is a nice party venue. Plenty of space
